The Samajwadi Party on Tuesday introduced 4 candidates for the upcoming by-elections on seven meeting seats in Uttar Pradesh. The Bulandshahr meeting seat has been left for Rashtriya Lok Dal which is an ally of the Samajwadi Party.
The Election Commission not too long ago introduced the dates for by-elections on seven meeting seats of Uttar Pradesh. Polling might be performed on November three whereas the outcomes might be declared on November 10. The final date of nomination might be October 16 whereas candidates will be capable of withdraw nominations until October 19.
The Samajwadi Party has determined to discipline former MLA Indrajit Kori from Ghatampur meeting seat. Kori had represented this seat in 2012. Bypolls are being held after the demise of BJP lawmaker Kamla Rani Varun. From Naugaon Sadat meeting seat in Amroha, the get together has given the ticket to Javed Abidi. Abidi was the runner-up on this seat in the course of the 2017 meeting polls. Abidi was defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chetan Chauhan by a margin of 21,000 votes roughly. The Bahujan Samaj Party candidate got here third place whereas Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate had completed fourth. The by-elections are due after the demise of Chetan Chauhan.

The seat is now up for by-polls after SP Singh Baghel was elected as MP.
The Samajwadi Party will look to retain the Malhani seat in Jaunpur which the get together gained in the course of the 2017 meeting polls. Parasnath Yadav had gained from this seat in 2017. The seat fell vacant after the demise of Parasnath Yadav.
The Bulandshahr meeting seat has been left for RLD. Notably, this seat went to BJP’s kitty within the 2007 meeting polls. It was gained by Virendra Singh Sirohi who had defeated BSP candidate by a margin of 23,000 votes. The Samajwadi Party had completed third whereas RLD stood fourth.
