The Shiv Sena could contest 30 to 40 Assembly seats in Bihar, Party MP Sanjay Raut stated on Monday. The Rajya Sabha member stated a choice on the variety of seats to be contested is predicted to be taken in a day or two.
“Our people in Bihar want us to fight 50 seats. We are saying we should contest 30 to 40 seats,” he instructed reporters.
Asked if the Shiv Sena will discipline a candidate in opposition to former Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey if he’s within the ballot enviornment, Mr Raut quipped, “Keep watching.”
“I will go to Bihar. I will reply to this query when I reach Bihar,” Mr Raut stated.
Shiv Sena has been concentrating on Gupteshwar Pandey since he sought a CBI probe in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. The Sena-NCP-Congress, companions within the MVA authorities in Maharashtra, have been important of the previous IPS officer over his remarks.
Gupteshwar Pandey, whereas heading the Bihar Police drive, had pitched for a CBI probe into Sushant Rajput’s demise case. He took voluntary retirement from service final month and joined the Nitish Kumar-led JD(U).
The Bihar Assembly polls will probably be held in three phases on October 28, November three and November 7, and the counting of votes will happen on November 10.
