From celebrities, followers to most people, mourners lined up at Tamaraipakkam close to right here on Saturday to pay homage to star singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, popularly referred to as SPB. At the break of daybreak, women and men trooped to the sprawling farm home of the veteran singer to pay their final respects regardless of restrictions in view of the coronavirus pandemic and about 500 police personnel have been deployed to control the unceasing crowd, a number of of whom have been from distant places.
