As Madhya Pradesh goes for by-polls on 28 seats, the voters are elevating their pitch on native calls for and points throughout the state. The tribal voters in Nepanagar’s Chuna Bhatta are demanding land rights, a requirement pending for years which no political occasion has fulfilled over time.

The locals are usually protesting within the constituency warning the political events that they gained’t be participating in polls if their demand for land rights isn’t met instantly.


“We have one slogan –No patta (land right document) –No vote,” stated Bholaram Thakur an area native from space including they’ll boycott this and coming polls if the demand shouldn’t be met.

In one other tribal dominated Dhulkot space in Nepanagar, the locals are up in arms in opposition to an ailing maintained Asirgarh-Dhulkot highway which makes their lives of locals ‘miserable’ throughout monsoon. Locals declare that the highway has not been repaired for years although it’s the solely path to neighbouring areas.

Manoj Kumar, a younger voter from the world stated that until the highway is repaired, individuals gained’t vote within the bypoll.

The Nepanagar meeting seat in Burhanpur has fallen vacant after resignation of former Congress MLA Sumitra Devi Kasdekar. BJP used to oppose the MLA of corruption fees. Interestingly, the MLA will now contest the bypoll on BJP ticket and the Congress is accusing her of corruption.
