The Sri Lankan spin legend and Tamil actor talk about collaborating for the upcoming biopic
Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is all set to essay the position of Sri Lankan spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan within the upcoming cricket biopic 800.
Speaking on Star Sports’ pre-show Cricket Live about how he felt about Vijay Sethupathi enjoying his position within the movie, Muralitharan mentioned, “Once the script was prepared, we thought the most effective match for this film is none aside from Vijay Sethupathi. I believe he’s a really gifted actor and he’ll nail the bowling expressions. I trust Vijay fully as he is without doubt one of the best actors and I’ve full religion that he’ll undoubtedly do wonders for the movie.”

Vijay Sethupathi on his half mentioned that it was very nice to hear to Muralitharan’s story and spend time with him. “He is like a stamp, he makes a mark wherever he goes with his charming character and personality. I love his real life persona, because fans have seen him in matches on the field, but very few have got a chance to know Murali sir’s personality off the field. He’s such a beautiful person and his story needs to be told,” he remarked.
800, a fast-paced and humorous biopic shall be a shifting portrayal of one among cricket’s most sensible and divisive characters, and a story of unorthodoxy, ethnicity, and satisfaction. The movie shall be shot in Sri Lanka, U.Ok, Australia, and India. The shoot will begin originally of 2021 and the film is ready to launch on the finish of 2021.
