Los Angeles: Actor Michael Jai White, greatest identified for his work in movies like “Spawn” and “Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown”, is ready to guide the solid of the upcoming indie “The Commando”. The actor joins Hollywood veteran Mickey Rourke, who’s hooked up to play the antagonist within the Asif Akbar directorial, reported Deadline.
“The Commando” follows a DEA agent with PTSD (White) who returns house after a botched mission and should now defend his household from a newly launched felony (Rourke), and his henchmen who’ve come after a stash of hundreds of thousands contained in the agent’s home. Koji Steven Sakai wrote the unique screenplay from a narrative by Al Bravo, Akbar and Sakai.
The film is a co-production with Al Bravo Films, Little Nalu Pictures and Avail Entertainment. Production is slated to start in New Mexico this month.
