Mayors, deputy mayors and varied different senior leaders of the three BJP-led municipal companies of town on Monday sat on a dharna exterior the official residence of the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanding the discharge of “due funds”. A posse of safety personnel has been deployed close to the chief minister’s residence in Civil Lines space as civic leaders sat proper in entrance of its most important gate.
Delhi BJP unit’s media in-charge Naveen Kumar posted photographs and movies from the scene of the sit-in and mentioned, senior civic leaders of North, South and East Delhi municipal companies are collaborating in it. Mayors of the three companies — Jai Prakash (North Delhi), Anamika (South Delhi), Nirmal Jain (East Delhi) together with their deputies, chairpersons of standing committees, leaders of Houses and others demonstrated and raised slogans demanding the discharge of funds price crores which they allege are “due” to the civic our bodies.
Jain mentioned, when the chief minister arrived at his bungalow, “we requested him to give us some time to explain our situation to him. He went inside and we haven’t heard anything since.”
