MP Congress media cell chairman Jitu Patwari stated the state authorities has gone into autopilot mode on coronavirus, including individuals have been left to the mercy of destiny.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Wednesday alleged that the ruling BJP was spreading “political coronavirus” to delay by-polls in the state and urged the Election Commission to maintain them on the earliest.

MP Congress media cell chairman Jitu Patwari stated the state authorities has gone into autopilot mode on coronavirus, including individuals have been left to the mercy of destiny.

Patwari alleged that the state authorities is busy holding political rallies While individuals are dying, including that Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP state chief VD Sharma are busy in delivering speeches.

The authorities has double requirements as it’s inflating Covid-19 numbers and taking over political engagements commonly, he added.

Patwari urged the EC to maintain by-elections as early as attainable, saying the numbers of cubicles must be doubled and social distancing noticed, with separate preparations for senior residents.

“There is a ban on visits to temples and mosques while political events are going on unhindered,” he stated. “Basically the state government is trying to confuse the public and the Election Commission.”.

The state is due to witness by-polls to 25 meeting seats necessitated with the resignations of 23 Congress lawmakers and the loss of life of an MLA every from Congress and the BJP.
