Arvind Kejriwal says all AAP employees throughout the nation will support the nationwide strike, appeals to all residents to support farmers

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has prolonged its support to the ‘Bharat Bandh’ called by farmers’ organisations on December 8 in opposition to the brand new agri legal guidelines, Delhi Chief Minister and the celebration’s nationwide convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, mentioned on Sunday.

Mr. Kejriwal mentioned that every one AAP employees throughout the nation will support the nationwide strike and appealed to all residents to support the farmers.

“The Aam Aadmi Party fully supports the ‘Bharat Bandh’ call made by farmers on December 8. AAP workers across the country will support it peacefully. There is an appeal to all countrymen that everyone should support the farmers and participate in it,” Mr. Kejriwal tweeted.

AAP chief and Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai mentioned all volunteers and employees will take part within the strike to support the farmers.

“This is not just the farmers fight but the fight for all countrymen. India is an agricultural country and if farmers are unhappy then the country is affected. I appeal to all to join the protest,” Mr. Rai mentioned in a video message.

Hardening their place, agitating farmers on Friday introduced a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on December 8 and mentioned they’d occupy toll plazas on that day if their calls for for repealing the agri-marketing legal guidelines will not be met.

Talks between farmer leaders and Union ministers have turned out to be futile to this point.

The farmers have rejected the Centre’s proposal of amending the legal guidelines and have as a substitute demanded {that a} particular session of parliament be called to repeal the legal guidelines.
